- Lead safe and reliable site operations by continuously monitoring performance and ensuring all procedures align with industry best practices.
- Identifying key performance indicators and leveraging statistical data to implement actionable improvement strategies.
- Optimize plant processes to meet operational budgets while ensuring high standards of efficiency, availability, and reliability.
- Take ownership of the site maintenance regime, ensuring full compliance, efficient work order management, and proactive spare parts coordination.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize unplanned downtime and strategically schedule maintenance activities for peak plant availability.
- Encourage a safety-first culture by enforcing strict Management of Change (MOC) and permit-to-work requirements while promoting proactive near-miss reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date, accessible operational documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure all team members have the guidance.
- Providing ongoing training, evaluation, and clear guidance to ensure all personnel are fully qualified for their assigned tasks.
- Manage supply reliability and IMS compliance while liaising with local authorities to ensure adherence to all regulatory and HSE standards.
- Provide critical support during emergencies, lead second-level troubleshooting, and investigate non-conformities to implement preventive actions against future occurrences.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in related industry with chemical process related operations/process.
Robust knowledge of industrial safety frameworks and requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with, motivate, and effectively lead a collaborative team of technicians.
