At Air Products, we're looking for a Maintenance Engineer Mechanical to help keep our production facilities operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity, reliability, and performance of a wide range of mechanical assets across our industrial gas and hydrogen production facilities. You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams to resolve technical issues, develop maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Support mechanical integrity inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate effective repairs.

  • Improve asset reliability through root cause analysis and reliability engineering techniques.

  • Support maintenance shutdowns, plant modifications, and capital projects.

  • Develop maintenance scopes, budgets, and cost estimates.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and SAP data.

Equipment you'll support

  • Piping systems

  • Tanks, vessels, and heat exchangers

  • Valves and pressure systems

  • Insulation systems

  • Structural steel and static equipment

  • Pumps and other mechanical equipment

What we're looking for

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset integrity within an industrial environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of maintenance best practices and process safety.

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
