Support mechanical system review for PFD and P&ID development.

To design P&ID pipe spec, pressure rating, and provide pressure test drawing information.

Provide technical clarification and approval with vendor for requisition.

Understanding AP engineering standards, spec and international industry piping engineering code and local code.

Support project proposal estimation, project execution, commissioning and start up as requested.

Support on site mechanical system construction for technical issues and provide resolution suggestion.

Maintain and develop design work process, ensure it is implemented appropriately.

Determine design strategy, consult on engineering codes and principles, participate in project execution and commercial strategies on multiple projects.

Leads in problem solving on significant issues.

Contributes to development of AP standards and procedures.

Track all mechanical design lessons learned and lead action teams to develop required improvement.

Providing support to other AP engineering centers as workload requires.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in mechanical system Engineering for Gas, Chemical ,Petrochemical and underground pipeline with Design institute or engineering company.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Be able to travel to site as required.
Be familiar with ultra-pure grade pipe system design for semiconductor industry ( BA/ EP grade system).
Skills in smart P&ID design tools will be a plus.
Well understand Taiwan local and international pipe and valve engineering standards and design codes, be familiar with ASME B31.3.
Well understand design, check and approve procedure as well as interface with other functions and disciplines.
Language skill in English for both written and oral will be preferred.
