HSE Officer

Position : HSE Officer 

salary : 8000 - 10000 AED

Location : Abu Dhabi

Experience : Minimum 4 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and provide recommendations for prevention

- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors

- Monitor and report on HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement

- Conduct emergency response drills and ensure emergency response plans are up to date

- Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations

- Review and approve HSE plans for new projects and ensure HSE requirements are met during project execution

- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HSE matters

- Participate in HSE committees and meetings to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction 

- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures

- Ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification is preferred
