Senior Android Developer

As a Senior Android Developer, you will lead the development and maintenance of Android applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and usability. Write clear and readable code, adhering to best practices to facilitate easier maintainability and future enhancements. Collaborating closely with junior team members, you will provide guidance and support in designing software components to achieve quality outcomes. Additionally, as a senior member of the team, you will make informed decisions regarding design adjustments, refactoring existing code when necessary to improve scalability and performance, while also recognizing when it's optimal to maintain current implementations. Write effective codes that are clear, readable and lack glaring issues standards to ensure high-quality and reliable software. Provide support to more junior members, sharing in design software components in well-scoped scenarios to enhance team collaboration, promotes knowledge sharing, ensures quality outcomes, and contributes to the overall success of the development team and organization. Constant debugging of system problems to develop high-quality software Analyze technical issues and user requirements to propose and implement effective solutions. Work using an agile approach to be more efficient and manage various projects. Conduct appropriate adjustments to existing designs, when necessary, make significant refactors and when it’s better to leave things as-is, ensuring the final product remains functional, effective, and aligned with project goals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 4-6 years of experience in development, Experience Android native, Java and Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, Gradle, XML, Git, MVVM, Restful API. Strong understanding of ISO 7816 and ISO 8583 standards, particularly in card acceptance workflows and APDU command execution. Solid knowledge of mobile application security, including PCI compliance best practices and applied cryptography principles. Integration with known payment gateways is a plus.
