Job Description Summary
Responsible for work encompassing activities related to the environment (including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards) and employees including: -Creating and implementing health, safety, occupational and environmental programs to prevent injuries and illnesses within the workplace and environmental accidents -Inspecting workplace and environmental incidents in accordance with company procedures and implementing corrective actions -Ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and employee health and safety and identifying areas for improvement -Developing and managing an environmental and employee health & safety training plan -Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization

In the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment Manager (Professional Path) role, you will oversee the Site Health, Safety & Environment Management System, ensuring goals are met through self-directed work and effective oversight. You will create and implement comprehensive health, safety and environmental programs to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental accidents. Additionally, you will inspect workplace and HSE incidents in accordance with company procedures, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. You will identify areas for improvement, develop and manage training plans for environmental and employee health and safety, and maintain relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the organization's HSE performance. Your role will impact to the Site Health, Safety & Environment performance and success, requiring Health, Safety & Environment management, advanced problem-solving, effective communication, and industry-specific knowledge. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements, Corporate and other applicable standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
