As a Supervisor l, Production Management of the Compounding Team, you will be primarily responsible for leading team members to deliver the required production output within budget, quality and safety standards, by ensuring efficient task completion and adherence to processes. You will manage production activities, liaise with departments for scheduling, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes
- Manage production activities, including weigh and dispensing, cleaning, sterilization, and product compounding to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
- Liaise with Materials Management, Engineering, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources
- Lead manufacturing investigations, manage product/process non-conformances, CAPA and change control
- Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions
- Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups for functional and/or site projects
- Assure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent
- Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing engagement, recognizing achievements, and driving a strong safety culture
- Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members, directly impacting daily operations and team efficiency
- Ensure all associates adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
- Other adhoc duties as assigned
- Minimum: Degree in any scientific or engineering related field
- Minimum: 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or equivalent industry including 2–3 years in a similar supervisory role.
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Good team player
- Enjoy working with various cross functional team across manufacturing site
- Comfortable to be based at Tuas, transport provided from CCK, Jurong East, Outram Park, Woodlands MRT.
