The Senior Program Manager is a hybrid role that supports the Legal Department by combining technology management, AI workflow design, paralegal support for employment and civil litigation matters, legal research, and day-to-day operational support. Reporting to the Senior Director of Legal Operations, this person will help the department work more efficiently by managing and improving its tools, designing and testing AI-enabled workflows, and providing hands-on support to attorneys on active matters. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable configuring a system, building and evaluating a prompt, and assembling a litigation production.
  • Drives the Legal Department’s AI enablement roadmap. Sets priorities for where AI is applied to legal work, and determining where AI can act reliably and where human judgment is required. Independently manages AI pilots and proofs of concept from scoping through rollout. Establishes evaluation methods, quality standards, and success metrics for AI tools, and uses user feedback and results to challenge existing processes and recommend changes. Presents recommendations and risks to Legal leadership. Authors internal playbooks and leads training, coaching, and adoption so attorneys and staff across the department use technology and AI effectively and responsibly.
  • Provides paralegal support on employment and civil litigation matters, managing subpoenas, discovery requests, preservation demands, and legal holds, and prepares and executes data collections and productions in coordination with counsel, IT, and vendors;
  • Conducts legal and factual research for attorneys, monitors relevant legal developments, and verifies sources and AI-assisted outputs before they are relied upon;
  • Leads administration and planning for the Legal Department’s technology stack (e.g., ebilling, document management, e-signature, legal hold, and workflow tools), including configuration, user access, and vendor management. Evaluates and recommends tool changes, vendor selections, and process improvements that advance the department’s long-term efficiency, and partners with IT and Security leadership on enterprise requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate, Juris Doctor (JD), and/or advanced degree in law, information systems, or a related field preferred;
  • Minimum of twelve years’ experience in legal operations, legal technology, or as a litigation paralegal, preferably supporting employment and/or civil litigation matters, within a law firm, corporate legal department, or similarly complex professional environment;
  • Demonstrated experience developing or optimizing AI-enabled workflows, prompts, or related technology solutions
  • Strong legal research skills, with experience using legal research platforms;
  • Ability to analyze complex workflows, identify appropriate opportunities for AI enablement, and translate user requirements into structured, testable solutions;
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Zendesk, Claude, SimpleLegal, LegalHoldPro, Logikcull;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, technology teams, and business stakeholders;
  • Ability to manage priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and adjust projects in response to stakeholder and management feedback;
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and strict attention to detail, including the ability to handle confidential and privileged information
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Extensive use of computers and keyboard.
  • Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
  • Who We Are:
    Aledade PBC, a public benefit corporation, exists to empower the most transformational part of our health care landscape - independent primary care. We were founded in 2014, and since then, we've become the largest network of independent primary care in the country - helping practices, health centers and clinics deliver better care to their patients and thrive in value-based care. Additionally, by creating value-based contracts across a wide variety of health plans, we aim to flip the script on the traditional fee-for-service model. Our work strengthens continuity of care, aligns incentives and ensures primary care physicians are paid for what they do best - keeping patients healthy. If you want to help create a health care system that is good for patients, good for practices and good for society - and if you're eager to join a collaborative, inclusive and remote-first culture - you've come to the right place.
