🚀 Principal Infrastructure Engineer | On-Site | Guatemala

We’re looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in designing, supporting, and evolving enterprise infrastructure and hosting services.

This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving automation, driving reliability, and mentoring other engineers.

📍 Location: Guatemala City | On-Site - Zone 10 or Zona 4)
💼 Engagement: Full-Time | Contractor
🧑‍💻 Level: Principal / Technical Lead

🗣️ English Proficiency: B2–C1 (written and spoken)

• →Design, implement, and support Linux & Windows infrastructure and hosted services.
• →Troubleshoot complex full-stack infrastructure issues, including networking, authentication, SSL, traffic, and application environments.
• →Drive automation, configuration management, and infrastructure improvements.
• →Support cloud infrastructure, virtualization, containers, and SaaS platforms.
• →Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, security, and compliance initiatives.
• →Lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
• →Partner with Engineering and third-party providers to build reliable infrastructure solutions.
• →Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.

• 7–10+ years of relevant infrastructure experience
• Strong expertise across servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience leading infrastructure projects
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
• Certifications such as RHCE/RHCSA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus
