As an HR Operations Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to dive into a variety of HR functions, from benefits and immigration, to HRIS and metrics and analytics along with getting involved in special projects. This role is perfect for a high-energy, proactive person eager to grow their HR career and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative team environment.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to support key HR operational processes for our U.S. employee population. This role is responsible for benefits administration, compliance support, immigration coordination, HRIS data management and reporting, onboarding and offboarding activities, and support for HR projects and process improvements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing sensitive information in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Administer U.S. benefits programs, including new hire enrollments, life events, terminations, and open enrollment support.
- →Support compliance activities related to ACA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.
- →Coordinate employment-based immigration processes in partnership with HR Business Partners and external immigration counsel.
- →Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and process employee lifecycle transactions.
- →Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports and conduct data audits.
- →Support new hire onboarding and day one orientation activities.
- →Coordinate offboarding activities, including documentation, benefits notifications, and system updates.
- →Provide back-up support for employee leave management.
- →Assist with HR special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 4–7 years of HR operations experience.
- Experience with benefits administration and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting employment-based immigration processes.
- HRIS experience required; UKG experience a strong plus.
- MS Office skills with strong intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication and customer service skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
- Exposure to process improvement or HR systems enhancement initiatives.
