Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Project Support: Assist senior engineers and project managers in the planning, design, permitting, and documentation of municipal infrastructure projects.
- →Design & Drafting: Develop preliminary plans, calculations, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
- →Data Collection & Analysis: Perform field investigations, review reports and drawings, and assist in analyzing data to inform engineering solutions.
- →Regulatory Compliance: Help ensure designs and deliverables meet local, state, and federal regulations.
- →Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with internal staff, clients, and external stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing technical inquiries.
- →Continuous Learning: Pursue professional development opportunities, stay current with industry best practices, and obtain professional licensure.
Requirements
~1 min read- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field).
- Engineer Intern (EI) certification preferred or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and self-management abilities.
- Internship or co-op experience desired.
- Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
