Native Japanese Kansai Dialect Speakers

We’re looking for native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region to help collect and review AI speech data featuring authentic Kansai dialect.

 

What you'll do

 

✅ Record short, natural Kansai-ben conversations using your smartphone

✅ Read sentences naturally, like you’re chatting with friends or family

✅ Listen to and review Kansai dialect audio

✅ Help identify authentic Kansai dialect and distinguish it from Standard Japanese

✅ Check recordings for clarity and quality

 

Who we're looking for

 

✅ Native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region of Japan

✅ Comfortable speaking in a natural Kansai dialect

✅ Good listening and attention-to-detail skills

✅ Able to follow simple recording and project guidelines

✅ Experience with audio or language projects is a plus, but not required

Pay

 

✅$40 per valid hour

✅ Payment is based on valid recorded data that meets the project requirements

✅ You must be from the Kansai region of Japan

✅ You must be able to speak authentic Kansai dialect

✅ Each account must be used by one person only

This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
