· Perform thermal load calculations, airflow analysis and pressure balancing
· Lead the mechanical team from inception through construction and handover, including coordinating with contractors and subcontractors.
· Oversee the design and installation of industrial systems including HVAC (chillers, AHUs), compressed air, natural gas, process cooling water, and fire protection.
· Conduct regular site visits, verify installations against IFC, and manage the quality assurance of contractor work.
· Provide technical guidance during installation, resolve RFIs and manage design changes on-site.
· Work with multidisciplinary teams (structural, architectural, process) to resolve design conflicts using BIM or CAD tools.
· Ensure all systems comply with international standards (e.g., ASME, ASHRAE) and local building codes.
· Address design and construction anomalies on-site to minimize downtime and prevent delays
· Review shop drawings and site installations
· Validate testing, pre-commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems as per the project specifications.
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
· 8+ years of experience in industrial construction, preferably with automotive or heavy manufacturing plants.
· Experience in cleanrooms or dyno labs is preferred.
· Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, industrial utility infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment installation.
· Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical, Revit, and modeling software.
· Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
· Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
· Professional engineering certification preferred.
