As a Junior QA Engineer, you’ll support software quality through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with Product Managers, Frontend and Backend Engineers, Designers, and other QA colleagues to test new implementations and improve our testing processes.
Our product includes different systems and integrations working together, so curiosity, communication, and a willingness to learn are important. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one, but we’re looking for someone who can gradually take more ownership as they learn the product and our processes.
- Manually test new features, bug fixes, and existing product flows.
- Create and execute clear test cases.
- Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright.
- Report, track, and retest bugs using Jira.
- Review user stories and raise questions when requirements are unclear.
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers throughout the testing process.
- Support test automation within our GitHub Actions workflows.
- Learn how different product areas and third-party integrations work together.
- Explore how AI tools can support testing, documentation, and automation.
Requirements
~1 min read- Some practical experience with manual software testing, through work, an internship, training, or personal projects.
- Basic experience with Playwright or another automation tool such as Cypress or Selenium.
- Basic knowledge of test case creation and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with Jira or a similar bug-tracking tool.
- Experience working in, or a good understanding of, an Agile environment.
- Good communication skills and confidence asking questions when something is unclear.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and product processes.
- Basic JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python knowledge.
- Basic experience with Git and GitHub.
- API testing experience using Postman or a similar tool.
- Basic SQL or CI/CD knowledge.
- Experience using AI tools as part of your work or learning.
