Materials Innovation Co-Op Student

The Advanced Concepts team drives breakthrough innovation in snow, trail and climb for the mountain athlete everywhere. • Gain experience working alongside researchers, scientists and designers who are working on the next generation of Arc’teryx product. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of their approach.
• Gain further insights into materials and product testing, and pressure test current methodologies and develop new ones.
• Gain insight into the scientific method and other documentation methods and workflows.

• You are a senior Undergraduate student in Materials Science or Engineering, Textiles Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• • Currently enrolled in or entering a Master’s/PhD program preferred
  • You are comfortable using the Microsoft Suite.
  • You are experienced using data analysis software.
  • You are experienced with laboratory testing and mechanical testing. You have experience operating associated instrumentation.
  • You are comfortable navigating, reading and interpreting data.
  • You are an initiator, keen to connect with existing and broader teams, able to build relationships, share data and approach insights with ease.
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.

Salary range for this role is: $44,700 - $58,200; Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
