Join Arctic Kingdom’s Expedition Team
Arctic Kingdom is recruiting Camp Managers and Assistant Camp Managers to help lead the daily operations of our remote field camps across the Arctic. These roles are essential to delivering safe, efficient, well-run camps that support unforgettable guest experiences.
As a Camp Manager or Assistant Camp Manager, you’ll help oversee camp systems, structures, fuel and water management, inventories, staff coordination, and daily routines. You’ll work closely with the Expedition Leader and a dedicated team—including Inuit guides, camp staff, and operations support—to maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming camp in challenging field conditions.
We’re seeking hardworking, adaptable people with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience in remote settings.
- Camp Managers should bring leadership experience and confidence managing operations;
- Assistant Camp Managers should bring a willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into more responsibility.
If you excel in remote environments, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a respected Arctic expedition team, we’d love to hear from you.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are likely a strong fit if you:
- Have experience in remote field work, expedition support, camp operations, or related hands-on roles.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal responsibility, reliability, and initiative.
- Work well in a small team and maintain a positive attitude during long and sometimes demanding days.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with staff, guests, and northern community partners.
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting basic systems, tools, and equipment.
- Are physically fit, comfortable lifting heavy loads, and able to work in harsh weather conditions.
- Understand the importance of safety, risk management, and situational awareness.
- Show cultural awareness and respect for Inuit guides, communities, and diverse guests.
- For Camp Managers specifically: bring experience supervising staff, coordinating day-to-day operations, and making informed decisions under pressure.
- For Assistant Camp Managers: bring eagerness to learn, to broaden your camp and mechanical skills, and to grow toward a future leadership role.
To Apply:
Submit your resume detailing your relevant professional and personal experience. There are some application questions as part of the submission. They are not mandatory, but we strongly encourage you to complete them.
We look forward to hearing from you.
