Associate, Wealth Management Solutions, APAC

Ares Wealth Management Solutions (WMS) APAC is looking for an Associate. The position will play a key role in supporting the distribution efforts of a range of alternative strategies offered to the Asian private wealth channel. The incumbent will work closely with members of WMS APAC to help drive towards the long-term growth and development objectives, primarily focused on Asia ex Japan.

  Act as business development support for WMS APAC senior business development and product management persons

  Cultivating and manage relationships with private banks, wealth management platforms and family offices

• →

  Help with onboarding, client reviews and DDQs across the full range of products offered by WMS in APAC

• →

  Support the servicing, reporting requirements and data needs of clients in APAC, primarily in Asia ex Japan

• →

  Maintain and manage product collateral for WMS APAC offerings, particularly the Chinese translations

  Conduct and maintain competitor analysis across assets classes covered by WMS APAC

• →

  Help generate analysis and reports on sales activity and campaigns using Ares CRM tools

• →

  Support marketing efforts through running approval processes, helping develop collateral and social media

• →

  Assist the head of WMS Southeast Asia across strategic initiatives

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a major in Business, Management or Social Sciences (other disciplines are also welcome) with strong academic records

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution, business development, product management or client servicing across public and private markets into the private wealth or family office channels

• Proven ability to build relationships through active listening and delivering client service to the highest standards

• Market and investment acumen to understand and articulate alternative investment strategies

• Ability to demonstrate a client centric and outcome focused mindset

• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a collegial, fast moving, demanding, and dynamic environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal ability to build effective relationships

• Strong attention to detail with impeccable integrity and trustworthiness

• Proficiency in business Mandarin
