About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a curious, adaptable and eager-to-learn professional to join our Compensation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build a long-term path in Compensation and Total Rewards. You will support the team across day-to-day compensation operations and key projects, including our ongoing job architecture and title rationalization work, while developing deep expertise through hands-on learning and mentoring.Prior compensation experience is not required. We value attitude, agility and a genuine willingness to learn as much as technical background.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain and update compensation data, salary structures and employee job/grade records with a high level of accuracy.
- →Prepare reports and analysis in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas) to support compensation reviews, offers and ad-hoc requests.
- →Support annual compensation cycles such as merit increases, bonus and promotion processes, including data preparation, validation and tracking.
- →Assist with job mapping, title inventory and data clean-up activities as part of job architecture and job evaluation projects.
- →Help participate in salary surveys and collate market benchmarking data under the guidance of senior team members.
- →Support pays equity and pay transparency activities, such as data cuts by level, function or gender.
- →Respond to routine compensation and benefits queries from HR Business Partners and managers.
- →Contribute to processing documentation, templates and continuous improvement ideas within the team.
Requirements

- Excel skills: Working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables and basic formulas.
- Willingness to learn and grow: A genuine interest in building a career in Compensation and a proactive approach to picking up new concepts, tools and processes.
- Agility and flexibility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities, deadlines and project needs.
- Openness to learning: Receptive to feedback, coaching and new ways of working.
- Accuracy and integrity: Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential employee and pay data.
- Bachelor's degree (HR, Business, Finance, or Statistics preferred).
- Prior experience in Compensation, Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations or HR Analytics.
- Exposure to HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Familiarity with salary surveys or benchmarking providers (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry, Aon Radford).
- Interest in or basic knowledge of advanced Excel, Power BI or other data tools.
- Curious and asks questions to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
- Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
- Collaborates well with colleagues across HR and the business.
- Communicates clearly and simply, both in writing and verbally.
