Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Own and manage strategic semiconductor customer accounts (e.g., Intel, Micron, TSMC), with full accountability for revenue growth, contract alignment, customer engagement, and aftermarket business strategy.
- →Drive revenue and gross margin (GM) expansion by transforming customer relationships from transactional sales agreements to value-driven service and lifecycle management programs.
- →Build and strengthen trusted customer partnerships by fostering strong working relationships with both customer stakeholders and internal account teams.
- →Reduce Cost of Ownership (COO) for customers by improving spare parts lifetime, optimizing repair and refurbishment strategies, and developing alternate/second-source solutions in collaboration with Engineering, Surface Technology, Commodity Management, and other Global Spares & Services teams.
- →Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ASM's key product portfolios, including ALD, PEALD, and EPI systems, to effectively support customer discussions and technical escalation management.
- →Partner with Equipment Business Units during product development to enhance aftermarket readiness, driving design improvements focused on serviceability, cleanability, pre-assembly efficiency, and Build-on-Test (BOT) enablement.
- →Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) tollgate activities by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define spare parts and consumables requirements, develop consumables cost models, and execute cost-reduction roadmaps that improve the overall Cost of Consumables (CoC).
- →Develop and execute customer spare parts pricing strategies, working closely with regional commercial teams to achieve business plan (BP) objectives for revenue, profitability, and customer value.
- →Influence cross-functional stakeholders globally to align aftermarket strategies, improve operational efficiency, and maximize customer satisfaction throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering required. Masters or PhD preferred.
- 3+ years in account management and commercial leadership experience within the semiconductor equipment, aftermarket services, or related high-technology industries.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer success through service-based business models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and influence decisions across global organizations.
