Include the following:

• →Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tiles, door hardware repair, and correcting simple plumbing problems, as required.
• →Assist other Maintenance Mechanics in performing routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, controllers, and electro/mechanical devices.
• →Respond to building service calls; assist Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting problems within facility and taking corrective action.
• →Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on domestic water systems and related mechanical systems.
• →Perform minor structural and mechanical tasks, electrical maintenance, and other duties.
• →Prepares a variety of surfaces (e.g. cleaning, sanding, patching, masking, nail holes, cracks, joints, etc.) to insure they are ready for painting and/or refinishing.
• →Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc.
• →Interpret, explain and apply building codes, rules and regulations involved in assigned maintenance activities.
• →Follow the preventive maintenance program, energy management program and standard operating procedures for all machinery and equipment.
• →Perform proper methods of labeling, storing equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe manner.
• →Record and log all work performed, complete work order slips and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner.
• →Promote a safe working environment for all employees by following the life safety and emergency program as needed.
• →Operate equipment, such as, light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, access lifts, or other light power driven equipment.
• →May occasionally have to enter areas where fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals are present. Work at heights using correct safety equipment.
• →Develop and submit lists of necessary repairs and improvements.
• →May perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required, or 2 years of comparable experience plus required related experience may be considered in lieu of diploma.
• Technical training in HVAC preferred.
• Apprentice Electricians License preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Two (2) years' experiences operating and maintaining building mechanical systems to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire and life safety related experience
