About the Role
~1 min readThe Customer Milestones Delivery TPM owns a single tracked calendar of every customer-facing commitment across Pronto's active deployments, and is the one consistent voice when a date is at risk or has to move. Today, customer dates live across scattered trackers and get communicated by whichever team happens to be closest to the customer at the time. This role replaces that with one owner, one calendar, and one voice.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build and maintain a single tracked calendar of every customer-facing date across all active sites — kickoff, go-live, ramp milestones, contractual deadlines — replacing the scattered trackers in use today.
- Keep the calendar current by pulling status directly from the teams executing against each date, not by waiting for it to be reported.
- Flag a date at risk before it slips, based on leading indicators from execution teams, not after the customer has already noticed.
- Build the judgment to tell a normal schedule variance from a real risk, so early warnings carry weight instead of becoming noise.
- Be the one consistent voice on customer timeline changes, so a customer hears about a slipped or moved date the same way, from the same source, every time.
- Own the hard conversation when a date has to move: what changed, why, and the new commitment — rather than leaving it to whichever team is in the room.
- Coordinate with Sales, Deployment, and Customer Success so the message a customer hears matches what internal teams actually believe will happen.
- External or customer-facing program management experience — has personally owned a hard conversation about a slipped date with a paying customer.
- Rigor to build and maintain a live tracking system across several concurrent sites without letting it go stale.
- Proactive by default: flags risk before being asked, rather than only status-reporting after the fact.
- Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable being the consistent point of contact on sensitive timeline conversations.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience in a deployment, customer success, or delivery role for a hardware or field-deployed technology product.
- Experience with autonomous vehicle, robotics, or heavy industrial equipment customer programs.
- Familiarity with Linear or a similar tool for pulling execution status directly from delivery teams.
