Here's a role that will throw you into the swamps of Degobah and ask you to use bridge the gap between complex enterprise business requirements and secure data solutions.
We are partnering with a data and cloud practice that builds enterprise data platforms and AI systems for large scale businesses in the UK and Africa. They need an architect to act as the trusted advisor and build leading-edge data systems.

- The Tech: You will build platforms using Databricks, GCP, Azure, Salesforce, and Anthropic.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and roll out enterprise Databricks Lakehouse environments using Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and Spark compute clusters.
- →Lead cloud data modernizations and migrate legacy systems to cloud native environments.
- →Drive Terraform first IaC deployments and build secure data network perimeters, including Private Link and hierarchical firewalls.
- →Handle technical pre-sales. You will build PoC demonstrations, write SOWs, and map out architectures for prospective clients.
- →Act as the strategic bridge between complex business requirements and scalable data solutions.
Requirements
~1 min read- 8 or more years of experience in data or cloud engineering.
- At least 5 years specifically focused on enterprise Databricks architecture.
- Deep practical experience with the Databricks ecosystem, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and identity federation like OIDC or SAML.
- Advanced skills in at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Current Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Professional or Lakehouse Architect) and a professional level Cloud Architect certification.
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts to business executives and drive decisions.
