Leading conceptual design of Steam Turbine and Axial Expander components.
Performing trade-off studies to identify and evaluate suitable design solutions.
Leading mechanical integrity and performance evaluations of new and existing components, including functionality and life assessments.
Applying expertise in static structural, modal, and harmonic analysis of turbomachinery components.
Using knowledge of international turbomachinery design codes and standards, including ASTM and EN.
Designing, analyzing, and evaluating assigned projects using sound engineering principles and applicable business standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products and lead analytical and design activities using established technologies, methods, and approaches.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.
Have at least 4 years of experience in mechanical component design and analysis, with hands-on experience using engineering tools such as Ansys and UG.
Knowledge of steam turbine component design and analysis (preferred).
Knowledge of international standards governing turbomachinery design, such as ASTM, API612 and EN standards.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Show the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
