POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Enterprise Architect provides planning services for a wide range of systems and network projects. The Enterprise Architect will perform the following duties:

  • Define architecture systems architect requirements and update existing Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architectural artifacts based on approved Engineering Change Proposals
  • Develop strategic system architecture plans
  • Design systems and networks
  • Display expertise in information processing fundamentals and best practices
  • Provide superior analytical, conceptual, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Conduct technology, trends, standards, and products research
  • Provides SWOT analyses, critical success factor analyses, strategic business planning, strategic information systems planning, value chain analyses, e-business assessments, and other techniques used to establish strategic plans
  • Provides expertise in conducting research, evaluations, and studies required to develop both short-term and long-term plans Provides plans, designs, and concepts and develops general and specific program and project strategies for linking proposed investments in IT to business results
  • Provides planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance involved in implementation and integration efforts
  • Identifies problems and recommends solutions

MANDATORY:

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
  • Minimum five years in development & sustainment of IT systems in the US Federal Government
