Product Design Lead

This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to be the sole product designer on our team. You will be the architectural voice for our user experience and the creative force behind our product's visual identity. You won't just be executing tasks; you will be building the design discipline, establishing processes, and creating a scalable design system that will serve as the foundation for our product for years to come. Your work will directly influence our success and, by extension, the success of the thousands of non-profits and conscious brands we serve.

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a focus on UI/UX for web and mobile applications

• Proven track record designing for SaaS products, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments

• Portfolio showcasing elegant, data-driven solutions to complex design challenges

• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and expertise across responsive web and mobile

• Deep understanding of technical constraints and opportunities, enabling close collaboration with engineers

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems and pattern libraries

• Strong analytical mindset and experience using sales, product, or client data to inform design decisions

• Experience leading end-to-end design for products or major feature initiatives

• Expert knowledge of UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles

• Proven experience in creating and maintaining a design system from the ground up. You have a deep understanding of component-based design, tokens, and documentation.

• Proven ability to manage and mentor junior design talent, providing constructive feedback and elevating the team's overall output.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Previous experience in the e-commerce or Martech sectors.

• Experience working in a Series A/B/C startup environment.

• Experience working within multi-product eco-systems

• Familiarity with ecommerce and AB testing within AB testing

• Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem

• Familiarity with accessibility design

• Experience building decks for executive stakeholders

• Hands-on experience maintaining a marketing website, preferably built on Framer (or a similar tool like Webflow).
