Entry-Level Civil Engineer – Surface Water Engineering (SWABQ)

As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer (EI) in our Surface Water Engineering Group, you will work alongside industry experts to develop solutions for stormwater and green stormwater infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will contribute to:

• →Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis – Conduct studies that support sustainable water management.
• →Engineering Design & Modeling – Utilize industry-leading software to develop engineering solutions.
• →Project Documentation & Reporting – Assist in preparing technical reports and project plans.
• →Construction Cost Estimating – Support project budgeting and planning efforts.

• Academic Excellence – Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or within one semester of graduation) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Certification & Experience – Engineer Intern (EI) certification is required; 0-4 years of experience in surface water hydrology and hydraulics is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency – Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, and ArcGIS is highly desirable.
• Strong Communication Skills – Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Problem-Solving Mindset – A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to innovate.
