We are Birthday App. Fun above everything is a core value we hold near; in our work and products. We build experiences around how people actually behave instead of how we wish they would. We believe that birthdays are universally celebrated and have a big idea that we’ve built to help make birthday celebrations as seamless and special as possible.
Our first live product is an app that magically builds a birthday calendar from the user’s phone contacts. No manual input required. It's pretty wild.
We’re looking for imaginative, thoughtful humans who have contributed to their past roles in a meaningful way. You can work from anywhere, but the growing team meets in LA and NY a few times a year. You should also be insatiably curious.
Brandon, the founder, is a serial entrepreneur who got his start as a Disney Imagineer and has since built multiple large consumer tech companies, including Laurel & Wolf, Showroom, and Vesta. The engineering team is composed of the person who built Hubble’s engineering team and architecture into the world’s largest DTC contacts brand as well as one of the best engineers who has teamed with Brandon at his previous companies. We also have serious design chops and a culture of fiery curiosity that resulted with some people on the team being notably successful in their hobbies and side projects.
Candidates will be required to participate in an internal project (paid) as the final part of our interview process.
