Job Type: Full-time Other: Relocation assistance provided BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a highly experienced and skilled Senior Consultant - Accounting to join our team, specializing in accounting and management consulting for Department of Defense (DoD) entities. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in reviewing financial systems, audit response, and remediation, backed by a solid educational foundation in accounting, finance, or business. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Analyze and manage data within the Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS) or similar systems. Provide expert audit response and remediation in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS). Collaborate effectively with Department of Defense entities, including the Department of the Navy (DON), United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Special Warfare (NSW), and others. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite products to create, analyze, and present data and reports. Qualifications: Have minimum of 7 years of full-time experience within the last 10 years in accounting/management consulting with DOD entities (DON, USSOCOM, NSW). This experience includes reviewing financial system data for Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), (or similar ERP), and Accountable Property System of Record (DPAS), (or similar), and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products. 7 years’ experience in audit response and remediation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
