DevOps Engineer will be a key member of the Cloud Operations team responsible for developing SaaS and Hosted services across the company's product portfolio. They will work closely with Engineering, Product, IT, and other functional teams to build, operate, and improve customer-facing infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

The ideal candidate brings hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience, enjoys solving operational challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, actively leverages AI tools to improve productivity, and is passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and scalable services for enterprise customers worldwide.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to infrastructure automation using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and GitOps practices
  • Build, maintain, and improve secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure for SaaS and Hosted services on GCP
  • Leverage and develop AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, automate routine tasks, generate scripts, and improve documentation quality
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes-based platforms
  • Build and improve operational tooling, monitoring, runbooks, and documentation to enhance service reliability and reduce operational effort
  • Participate in change management, release activities, operational readiness reviews, and on-call support processes
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Services, Security, and other departments to support business and customer requirements
  • Contribute to platform engineering initiatives that improve developer productivity, service reliability, security, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in continuous service improvement efforts

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting production SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or customer-facing services
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, and Logging
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications
  • Comfortable using AI and LLM tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) as part of everyday engineering workflows. Experience with Agentic development a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based deployment practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, or similar technologies
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or equivalent
  • Proficiency with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TLS, routing, firewall concepts, and load balancing
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools used to operate production systems
  • Experience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure in production environments
  • Familiarity with Java-based applications and services is beneficial
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
