Facilities Design Structural Engineer III

• →Lead structural design for infrastructure and building projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• →Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• →Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
• →Assist in the acquisition of professional engineering licenses in other states as required for project needs.
• →Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members on best practices and design principles.
• →Contribute to the development of design standards, templates, and processes to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• →Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project requirements.
• →Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and advancements to inform design practices and strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional engineering license (e.g., PE) in good standing.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and building projects.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire and maintain professional engineering licenses in multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to structural engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, ETABS).

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with sustainable design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced engineering technologies.

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
