Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide financial aid counseling and customer service to students and families regarding federal, state, institutional, and military educational benefit programs.
- →Administer state grants, scholarships, and military educational benefits, including eligibility determination, certification, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- →Counsel students on financial aid eligibility, application requirements, award offers, financing options, and financial responsibilities.
- →Process and maintain student financial aid records to ensure accurate awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation of aid funds.
- →Perform financial aid operations, including verification, eligibility review, record maintenance, and data integrity functions.
- →Maintain compliance with federal, state, military, and institutional financial aid regulations through required processing, reporting, and training activities.
- →Collaborate with campus partners, state agencies, and military benefit administrators to support student aid programs and resolve funding issues.
- →Support financial aid outreach, presentations, and educational initiatives that promote available funding opportunities and financial stewardship.
- Knowledge of Federal Aid process preferred
- Attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Understand computer operating systems and desktop applications
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Effective in oral and written communication
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Experience with PowerFAIDS and/or Ellucian
