Full Stack Software Engineer (Experienced or Lead)

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Software Engineers.

This position will focus on Mission Management and Mission Planning Java software, working alongside a cross-functional team to develop solutions to allow stakeholders to advance the mission. As a member of the Boeing software team, you will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to the maintenance and support of the delivered system for our customers.   Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards

  Develops, maintains, enhances, and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations

  Regularly assess, update, and maintain software libraries and COTS products to ensure compatibility, security, and performance within the application ecosystem.

  Participates in the agile software development lifecycle including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings

  Debugs and resolve issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products

  Performs software development, participate in code reviews, and adhere to guidance on software standards and design principles.

  Develops, establishes, monitors, and improves software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align with organization goals and industry benchmarks

  Executes and document software research and development projects

  Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

• Bachelor degree or higher

• 3+ years’ experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns

• 3+ years’ experience in Java/C++/Python object-oriented programming on full stack software projects/programs

• 3+ years with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and execution

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3): USD $135,150 – $182,850

Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level 4): USD $171,700 – $232,300
