We’re looking for skilled manufacturing professionals who are passionate about leading and innovating in Boeing's Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems business.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Ensures a positive and safe culture / environment in PAC-3 Seeker Factory related operations
- →Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
- →Drives continuous improvement, standard work, and best practices within the Production System
- →Consults on factory activation expansions to achieve rate increases on production and sustainment
- →Implements robust process improvement program focused on The Cut the CoRRS, defect elimination, and root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes
- →Provides indirect leadership of Materials Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, EHS, and Quality personnel
- →Leverages collaboration with peers on other Programs to replicate and share efficiencies
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership or management role
- 5+ years’ experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years’ experience with business problem identification, data collection and preparation, interpretation and problem solving
- 5+ years’ experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within manufacturing
- Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU)/hourly union-represented workforce
- Master’s Degree or higher
- Excellent people and communication skills and leadership skills that can motivate employees
- Experience leading either a complex military system hardware software integration effort or a complex military system final customer testing and verification effort
- Experience leading large scale, cross functional projects
- Experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
