Responsibilities

  • →Manages employees performing engineering, technical, scheduling and control account management activities in the area of Project Management
  • →Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • →Strong Earned Value Management (EVM) background and demonstrated experience using EVM to manage technical, cost and schedule performance
  • →Coordinates the scheduling and utilization of the Lab assets ensuring downstream users are able to perform detailed test plans.
  • →Oversees the operation of the Lab to include resolution of problem reports and all configuration changes to the baseline product. 
  • →Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • →Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
  • →Manages, develops and motivates employees

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners
  • 5+ years’ experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks
  • 5+ years of experience employing Earned Value Management techniques either as a project manager, control account manager, or control account manager assistant

  • Experience supporting military programs
  • Experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices
  • Background in Lab Design, Development, and Utilization functions
  • Previous experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Knowledge of Development and Execution phases of Project Management.
  • Must have demonstrated work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
  • Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated
  • Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for $136,000 - $184,000
