Responsibilities

→Operate lorry crane to lift, move or reposition loads safety and precisely.
→Listen and carryout instructions given from ground crew or helpers via radio communication or hand signals.
→Direct helpers to position outriggers and blocks properly to prevent capsizing during heavy load lifting.
→Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
→Assess loads to determine their weight and compare it against lifting capacity to prevent risk of overload.
→Interact closely with customer for accurate movement if materials and equipment.
→Inspect, clean and perform operator level maintenance in crane mechanism and hoisting components in accordance with standards.
→Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
→Arrange for periodic maintenance of vehicle/equipment or when vehicle/equipment malfunctions.
→Follow related safety regulations, contract requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
→Provide report of work operations by completing relevant paperwork.
→Other ad-hoc assignments assigned by your superior from time to time

Requirements

Completion of High School or Secondary education.
Possess crane operator training certificate or license.
Good knowledge of standard crane operation techniques and hand signals preferred.
Min. Class 5 driving license.
At least 2 years’ experience working with lift trucks, overhead cranes and mobile cranes.
Familiar with Singapore routes
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good driving records.

5.5 Working days per week but may subject to O/T and working during weekends and holidays.
Could expect to work in stuffy, noisy and dusty environment.
Need to wear appropriate PPE when on duty.
