• →Own and operate our 3-node Proxmox virtualization cluster, including VM provisioning, patching, capacity planning, storage, and backups.
• →Administer and evolve our production Kubernetes platform, running on Talos Linux with Cilium CNI/eBPF and supporting critical MES and Data Platform workloads.
• →Own our GitOps delivery model using ArgoCD, Helm, Azure DevOps repositories, and Azure Container Registry.
• →Maintain and evolve key platform components including cert-manager, Traefik, External Secrets Operator, HashiCorp Vault, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Valkey.
• →Own our network and security infrastructure, including FortiGate firewalls, routing, VLANs, TLS termination, nginx, and Kubernetes ingress.
• →Lead the monitoring and observability stack across Proxmox and Kubernetes using Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• →Own backup and disaster-recovery processes using Proxmox Backup Server, Velero, and pgBackRest, including regular restore testing.
• →Lead the migration of approximately 16 Docker Compose services from VMs to the production Kubernetes cluster.
• →Manage the secrets lifecycle across Vault, External Secrets Operator, and Google Cloud Secret Manager.
• →Act as the escalation point for infrastructure incidents, driving root-cause analysis, postmortems, and runbook documentation.
• →Partner with the Data and MES teams on capacity planning, network architecture, and infrastructure requirements.
