Junior Technical Sales Engineer – Electrical Solutions Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Industry: Electrical Engineering / Industrial Automation / Facilities Services Department: Sales Experience: 2–4 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our client's sales team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems, LV switchgear, electrical services, PLC, or automation, along with proven sales and client relationship management skills.The role will focus on strengthening existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and providing tailored electrical solutions to meet client requirements, particularly within the brownfield market. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE market. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Promote electrical services, LV switchgear, PLC, automation, and related technical solutions. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical assessments to understand project requirements. Recommend suitable technical solutions based on customer needs and project specifications. Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and technical teams to develop effective proposals. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to prospective clients. Support the sales process by addressing technical queries and commercial concerns. Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure smooth project handovers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities. Achieve sales targets and contribute to business development objectives. Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer satisfaction. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. 2–4 years of experience in technical sales within the UAE market, preferably in LV switchgear, electrical services, PLC, or industrial automation. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, services, and solutions. Experience in designing technical solutions and advising customers on electrical products or services. Previous experience in selling electrical services or technical solutions in the UAE is highly desirable. Proven ability to develop new business and maintain existing customer accounts. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to understand technical drawings, project specifications, and proposals. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate technical requirements into business solutions. Results-oriented mindset with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is essential. A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
