We are looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer who will contribute to the design and engineering of marine and civil infrastructure projects.
You will be involved throughout project development phases, from concept design and tender support through detailed engineering and construction support. The role requires strong structural engineering expertise combined with experience in marine infrastructure and multidisciplinary project environments.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to develop structural solutions that are technically sound, compliant with project requirements, and aligned with construction and execution considerations.
• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and technical documentation for marine and civil infrastructure projects
• Contribute to the design of quay walls, jetties, marine platforms, dolphins and mooring structures, sheet pile and combi-wall systems, piled marine structures, retaining structures, port infrastructure, waterfront developments, and temporary works associated with marine construction
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, applicable standards, and construction constraints
• Perform structural analyses using industry-standard engineering software
• Support the development and verification of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, marine foundations, temporary works, construction stage analyses, and soil-structure interaction assessments
• Review engineering assumptions and contribute to technically sound engineering solutions
• Collaborate with construction, methods, and project teams to support practical and executable engineering solutions
• Contribute to constructability reviews, design optimization initiatives, value engineering exercises, construction sequencing assessments, temporary works integration, and technical risk identification
• Support alignment between engineering design and project execution requirements
• Support tender and pre-construction activities by providing structural engineering input during project development phases
• Contribute to technical proposal preparation, preliminary design development, quantity verification, engineering studies, alternative design evaluations, and technical clarifications
• Assist in developing technically competitive and commercially viable project solutions
• Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, and marine engineers, construction teams, external consultants, and project stakeholders
• Support multidisciplinary collaboration and technical alignment throughout project development and delivery phases
