Welcome to Campspot! Whether you are an avid camper, the occasional glamper, an expert RV-er, or new to the outdoors entirely, we're interested in working with you. Our team values diverse perspectives as we seek to create an easy-to-navigate and meaningful camping experience for everyone.

Campspot is hiring a Manager, Account Management to lead a revenue-focused Account Management team, including our Strategic Account Managers who own our largest multi-park groups and top-tier individual properties. The team helps campgrounds get optimal value out of Campspot by understanding their business needs, building deep partner relationships, and offering consultative guidance on the features and tools that matter most — and this role is accountable for turning that depth into net revenue retention and expansion, not just relationship health. You'll build the coaching, structure, and cadence that help AMs consistently grow their accounts, and stay close enough to the business to jump in personally when a deal or relationship needs it. (Please note, more senior candidates may be considered at the Senior Manager level).

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Own net revenue retention and expansion targets for the team's full book, and report on progress against them regularly.
  • Use HubSpot data — usage trends, SLA adherence, NPS, churn indicators — to flag risk and expansion opportunities early, and build that habit into how the team operates.
  • Run regular 1:1 pipeline and account reviews focused on what's driving (or blocking) growth in each rep's book, not just activity tracking.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop Account Managers, with a clear view of what strong performance looks like at each stage of their growth.
  • Give direct, specific feedback and follow through to make sure it's implemented — not just delivered.
  • Regularly join customer calls with your AMs — QBRs, renewal conversations, expansion pitches — both to support the deal and to coach in real time.
  • Use call recordings (Attention/HubSpot) to review rep performance and sharpen how the team runs discovery, objection handling, and value conversations.
  • Build direct relationships with owners, operators, and executives at the team's highest-value accounts, and be a visible presence in those relationships alongside the AM.
  • Travel quarterly, at minimum, to meet key customers in person alongside your team.
  • Attend and present at conferences and tradeshows
  • Work with Sales, Implementation, Support, and Product to make sure new site onboarding, escalations, and feature requests for your accounts are handled smoothly.
  • Represent the customer's perspective internally — bring product and support issues that affect your top accounts directly to those teams.

Requirements

~1 min read
  • 2+ years managing an Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales team in a fast-growing company, with real ownership of hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • A track record of leading teams through change, giving direct feedback, and holding people accountable to it.
  • Strong communication and listening skills across audiences — reps, executives, customers, and cross-functional partners — with the ability to pick up early signals of risk or opportunity in a customer conversation.
  • Personal experience owning a quota, NRR target, or expansion number, including direct ownership of churn — you've been measured on growth, not just retention or satisfaction.
  • A track record of driving upsell, cross-sell, or new-product revenue
  • Experience coaching reps through customer calls in real time, including using call recording tools for review and coaching.
  • Comfortable leading or coaching ROI and pricing conversations with owners and executives.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM; experience with Attention or a similar tool for coaching, preferred.
  • Experience in software
  • Experience in outdoor hospitality, campgrounds, or an adjacent industry (hospitality tech, leisure, venue management), and familiarity with seasonal revenue patterns, both nice to have.
