Job Summary:

Candi Solar is looking for a motivated and technically strong Project Engineer – Solar to support the successful execution of commercial and industrial solar projects. The role involves working closely with EPC partners, clients, suppliers, DISCOMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with Candi Solar’s technical, quality, and contractual requirements.

What will you do:

• Coordinate with the Project Development team for smooth project handover after contract signing.
• Review EPC project plans, designs, timelines, budgets, and execution methodologies.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with EPC partners on construction activities, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor projects from mobilization through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Conduct pre-project site surveys and periodic site visits to monitor site conditions, progress, quality, and safety.
• Identify project risks, delays, quality issues, and deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare site visit, progress, and project reports covering schedule, cost, quality, risks, safety, and procurement.
• Manage project snag lists and ensure timely closure of all snag points.
• Coordinate with clients, EPC partners, OEMs, DISCOMs, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Support project permitting, regulatory compliance, approvals, and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to Candi Solar’s technical, quality, contractual, and HSE requirements.
• Escalate critical project issues and support timely resolution.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across project sites.
  

Job Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in solar project execution/project engineering.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of solar project execution, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Experience coordinating with EPC partners, clients, suppliers, DISCOMs, OEMs, and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and deliverables.
• Strong site monitoring, reporting, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Understanding of project quality requirements, snag management, and corrective actions.
• Good awareness of HSE requirements and safe project-site practices.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to undertake regular project-site visits in line with project requirements.
