Lead Cook

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Jackson County Jail in Jackson, MI.

• →Leading, directing, and assisting inmates within the kitchen
• →Lead and assist with daily meal preparation
• →Prepare, bake, and cook meals according to company recipes
• →Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• →Follow company policies and facility procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a structured correctional environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work varying shifts between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Must be approved for clearance into the facility

Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
