As a Lead Cook, you will help oversee and support the daily food service operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• →Leading and instructing inmate workers in the kitchen
• →Assisting with daily meal preparation
• →Preparing, baking, and cooking food
• →Following company recipes and procedures
• →Helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• →Assisting with kitchen clean-up
• →Working successfully within a structured correctional environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• A positive, can-do attitude
• Strong character and integrity
• The ability to work well in a structured environment
• The ability to read and follow company recipes
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Leadership and teamwork skills
• A willingness to learn and take direction

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Flexibility to work varying days and hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Ability to successfully obtain clearance to enter the facility
