The Video Editor/Motion Designer is a hybrid role – part hands-on video editor, part motion designer, and maybe a little bit second camera shooter as a bonus. Most importantly, this person is a visual storyteller. You are an expert in all things video production and just as comfortable participating in a shoot as you are cutting that shoot in Premiere and After Effects. Regardless, if it’s an internal training video, branded social content or a live Town Hall broadcast, you make sure projects are scheduled, run smoothly, and adhere to expected timelines, budgets and creative vision.

  • Be an excellent visual storyteller with the ability to edit footage and add motion elements to deliver a tight polished video narrative.
  • Collaborate with internal Creative and Marketing teams to concept, storyboard, and produce video content to satisfy internal briefs.
  • Be responsible for the look, tone, and narrative arc of video content in alignment with brand voice.
  • Clearly communicate production and editing processes to teams, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and proactively prioritize work with Creative Director.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Attention to Detail: Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working.
  • Teamwork: Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal, and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.
  • Initiative: Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until the situation demands action
  • Planning and Organizing: Setting priorities and defining actions, time, and resources needed to achieve predefined goals.
  • Usage of Technical Expertise: Acquiring and applying technical and functional knowledge in one's own technological area of specialty.
