Cook

At Fellowship Square Historic Mesa, every meal is more than food, it’s comfort, dignity, and community. We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Cook who believes great nutrition and great flavor can improve the lives of seniors every single day.

 

• →Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and resident dietary requirements.
• →Ensure food is prepared in accordance with health and safety guidelines, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
• →Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration residents' dietary preferences, allergies, and medical needs.
• →Ensure timely meal service for residents, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• →Assist with inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen stock levels.
• →Work collaboratively with the dietary team, dining staff, and management to ensure smooth meal service.
• →Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
• →Adhere to safety and health regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

• Must hold a current Arizona Food Handlers Sanitation card.
• Have at least two years experience in institutional cooking.
• Course in food production, sanitation, and safety preferred.
• Vocational or technical education desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Must understand, speak, read, and write fluent English.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
