Join our growing team as a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS), supporting the NGA customer mission.

What you get to do every day: Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains.  The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services.

• →O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
• →Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
• →Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
• →Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
• →Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
• →Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
• →Compile detailed documentation

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 5-8 years Developer experience

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment

• Experience with Amazon Web Services

• Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired)

• Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS

• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps

• Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift certification
• Intelligence Community Experience preferred

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $148,000-$176,000  Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
