Safety Manager | Santa Teresa, NM

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager near Santa Teresa, NM to oversee safety operations on a commercial construction project. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

 

• →Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• →Conduct daily safety meetings, audits, and inspections
• →Review paperwork (i.e., permits, JHAs, MOPs, etc.)
• →Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• →Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

• Minimum 3+ years direct construction safety experience required
• Current OSHA 30 Construction and First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required
• Ability to work and commit to Sun-Sat schedule required
• Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
• Experience with data centers, mission-critical builds, and energy infrastructure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
