Maintenance Technician I

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for supporting facility maintenance and equipment repair under direct supervision. This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in basic maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting more senior technicians. The position requires basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

• →Assist in basic installation, maintenance, and repair of company facilities and equipment.
• →Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machinery, under the supervision of senior maintenance personnel.
• →Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• →Learn to use tools and equipment for minor repairs.
• →Document work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) under supervision.
• →Assist with maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Basic problem-solving abilities and willingness to receive training and instruction.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior maintenance experience is necessary, but basic mechanical skills are preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Trade school diploma or coursework in a related field is a plus but not required.

• Full-time position Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with potential for overtime as needed.
• Work may require standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
