Operations Manager, Martinsicuro

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading all site operations at Morgan Advanced Materials' Martinsicuro facility, including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement and EHS. The role is accountable for delivering operational excellence, driving safety, quality, productivity and cost performance, while developing high-performing teams and supporting the site's long-term growth strategy. Working closely with HR, Finance, Supply Chain and global stakeholders, the Operations Manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement and sustainable profitable growth.

 

• →Lead all site operations including Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement and EHS.
• →Drive a strong culture of safety, compliance and operational excellence.
• →Deliver production, quality, productivity, cost and customer service targets.
• →Lead and develop high-performing operational teams.
• →Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, including Lean and OPEX programmes.
• →Improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability and overall site performance.
• →Support capital investment projects and process improvement initiatives.
• →Collaborate with Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to achieve business objectives.
• →Ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental requirements and Morgan policies.
• →Build positive employee relations and foster a culture of engagement and accountability.

 

 

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science or related discipline), Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent operational leadership experience.
• Significant progressive experience in manufacturing and operations leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading production, quality, engineering, maintenance and continuous improvement functions.
• Experience managing manufacturing facilities and delivering operational performance improvements.
• Strong leadership, people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience driving EHS, quality, productivity and cost improvement initiatives.
• Fluent Italian and advanced English language skills are essential.
• Experience within industrial manufacturing, materials, process manufacturing or refinery environments preferred.
• Experience with kilning, mixing, pressing, extrusion or finishing operations would be advantageous.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experience preferred

In line with Italian pay transparency requirements, the minimum salary for this position is €51,171 per annum. The compensation package also includes a company car, an annual bonus opportunity of up to 30%, and additional benefits.
