The KM Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, operation, and ongoing enhancement of the organization’s intranet and collaboration platforms. Serving as both a technical support and hands-on partner within the KM Technology team, this position supports the current SharePoint Subscription Edition environment while actively contributing to the organization’s transition to SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 solutions, and other third-party platforms. The Analyst partners with members of the KM Technology team, the Enterprise Systems team, and other internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, support configuration and testing activities, develop and maintain workflow solutions, and identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, usability, search effectiveness, AI-assisted content discovery, and overall user experience.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Provide strategic input and direction while serving as a hands-on contributor to the development and deployment of the firm’s SharePoint Online intranet through a third-party vendor platform.
- Support the SharePoint Online intranet product in partnership with the intranet team, including the building and maintaining of site collections, page templates, navigation, permissions, and content types.
- Provide first-line technical issue triage: document, troubleshoot, and coordinate escalation with the SharePoint team and Collaboration Systems team as needed.
- Develop and execute testing processes for fixes, new functionality, patches, and platform upgrades.
- Monitor platform health, support in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
- Help build and maintain Forms and Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, content lifecycle management, and internal surveys.
- Identify and develop Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes and enhance user self-service capabilities.
- Proactively recommend and implement custom enhancements, new functionality, workflows, and third-party web parts.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and related capabilities, to streamline workflows, improve self-service, and enhance knowledge access.
- Support search optimization efforts to improve content findability, search relevance, and AI-assisted content discovery.
- Contribute to governance processes, including content freshness reviews, permissions audits, and information security requirements.
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and governing intranet content so it can be effectively surfaced through enterprise search and AI-enabled knowledge tools.
- Partner with the intranet product owner, business owners, and stakeholders to translate content and UX needs into technical solutions and coordinate requirements, prioritization, testing, progress tracking, and platform support.
- Create and maintain documentation for site structure, permissions models, configuration standards, and appropriate use of AI-enabled tools within KM Technology.

Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on SharePoint Online experience, including site architecture, permissions management, page and web part configuration, and content types.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI-enabled search, or other enterprise AI tools used to improve knowledge discovery, productivity, and workflow automation.
- Prior experience building and supporting an intranet platform end-to-end.
- Experience building and supporting forms and workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, Nintex or similar tools.
- Experience creating, implementing and documenting test plans for platform changes, patches, and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of web-based technologies; basic HTML knowledge preferred.
- Solid understanding of SharePoint search configuration and optimization.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; as well as with vendor and SaaS platform support teams.
- Strong analytical skills are critical, and familiarity with legal or professional services environments is highly valued.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom web part development.
- Prior experience in a professional services or law firm environment.
- Understanding of legal processes and legal information management.
- Basic SQL Server knowledge.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and identity/permissions infrastructure.
- Exposure to prompt engineering, or responsible AI practices in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a collaborative, team-oriented work style.
- Effective project management and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
- Leadership and planning skills appropriate for an analyst-level contributor.
- Self-starter who understands how details fit within the larger organizational context.
- Curiosity and practical judgment in evaluating emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, for appropriate business use.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
New York: $96,600 - $147,300
This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
