Seasonal Christmas Assistant/Driver

Help create Christmas magic for local families by supporting the behind-the-scenes efforts that make holiday assistance possible. If you’re organized, energetic, and passionate about helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Assignment dates: November 9-December 15

 

• →Support holiday operations by working weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed throughout the Christmas season.
• →Help collect generosity from the community by assisting with donation pickups from local collection sites.
• →Organize and sort donated gifts and packages to ensure every contribution is ready to brighten someone's holiday.
• →Step in as a bell ringer when needed, helping spread Christmas spirit while supporting our mission.
• →Assist with a variety of seasonal projects, including:
  • →Unloading deliveries filled with holiday donations and gifts.
  • →Sorting toys to help create a magical Christmas experience for children and families.
  • →Labeling gift bags and preparing items for distribution.
  • →Helping set up, decorate, and break down the toy warehouse.
  • →Assisting with toy distribution and helping families receive their Christmas gifts with warmth and care.
• →Lend a helping hand wherever needed to ensure a joyful and memorable holiday season for those we serve.

• High School Diploma or GED• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail• Good communication skills and team management• Willingness to uphold and support The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry• Reliable and able to work well with a team• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• A valid Ohio Driver's License and experience driving a box truck
